On December 21, 2017, volunteers hung the winter items on trees, tied them around light poles and stuffed fences in ten locations across the metro as part of the Wrapped in Warmth program dedicated to helping the homeless. Attached to each item was a note that read: “The spirit of the season has found you. We hope this item keeps you wrapped in warmth all winter long.”
