    The Monett City Council has renewed its contract with the Kansas City-based consulting firm MarksNelson, previously known as Community EDGE, for economic development services. MarksNelson works with the economic development partnership between the city, the Monett school district, the Chamber of Commerce, the Monett Industrial Development Corporation and the city’s Industrial Development Authority. The company was selected through the city seeking requests for proposals for economic development consulting.
