John Stolte Provides Consultation to Construction Industry and Nonprofit Organizations
MarksNelson, Kansas City’s largest locally-owned accounting firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of John Stolte, CPA, from manager in the firm’s Audit practice, to partner.
Stolte has more than 16 years of consulting experience for the construction industry and nonprofit organizations. His breadth of experience includes managing audits, reviews, compilations, agreed-upon procedures and consulting for a variety of public and private companies.
Prior to joining MarksNelson in 2002, Stolte was an auditor with a Big Four accounting firm and also served as an internal auditor for a large private construction company.
“In addition to providing the highest levels of service and experience to our clients, John also carries additional responsibilities at MarksNelson,” said Managing Partner Mark Radetic. “As co-chair of our Recruiting Task Force, John spends a good deal of his time sourcing the best candidates for employment at MarksNelson. He also heads our Assurance and Business Advisory (ABA) Department Administrative Committee, which is responsible for coordinating triennial peer reviews. He is an outstanding representative of MarksNelson and we are honored to bring him into our partner ranks.”
Stolte serves as treasurer on the executive committee of Associated Builders and Contractors, is on the planning committee of the Kansas City Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He also serves as treasurer of Jewish Family Services.
