Sarah Schiltz is One of Twenty Rising Stars in Accounting Named to the 2014 Class of Emerging Leaders
Kansas City accounting firm MarksNelson LLC is pleased to announce that tax manager Sarah Schiltz has been named to the 2014 class of emerging leaders by Wolters Kluwer, CCH, a leading global provider of tax, accounting and audit information, software and services. Schiltz was one of twenty tax and accounting professionals from across the nation who earned the opportunity to network and learn from key industry thought leaders at the Wolters Kluwer, CCH Connections User Conference earlier this month in Orlando, Fla.
“We are proud that Sarah has received this national recognition and know she will benefit from this talent development program,” said Mark Radetic, MarksNelson’s Managing Member. “A very small number of rising stars in the accounting profession are named to the class of emerging leaders and we know that the experience will further elevate Sarah’s many strengths in consulting, tax and accounting services.”
Participants of the Wolters Kluwer, CCH Emerging Leaders Program are recognized for exceptional teamwork, being innovative contributors and for adding to their firms’ overall value on a variety of levels. They regularly provide a significant span of positive influence among colleagues and offer support by being active listeners, strong communicators, respected technology experts, enterprising decision makers and by consistently leveraging their skills to benefit their firms for future success.
“Being named one of the accounting profession’s emerging leaders is an honor and privilege,” said Schiltz. “The experience of networking with industry leaders and peers has already resulted in a broader understanding of a number of key business and professional growth opportunities.”
Sarah specializes in consulting, tax and accounting services for real estate, health care, and high net worth clients. She graduated summa cum laude from Bethany College with degrees in Accounting, Finance, and Management. She earned her Master’s in Accountancy from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Sarah serves as President of the Dream Factory of Greater Kansas City and is a member of the AICPA and the Kansas and Missouri Board of Certified Public Accountants.
MarksNelson has long been recognized as one of Kansas City’s Top 10 accounting firms. Mark Radetic was recently named one of the top managing partners in the nation, the 2014 MP Elite, by Accounting Today, and the firm also recently received national recognition for its high percentage of women partners and owners by the Accounting MOVE Project.
