Sarah Schiltz, the youngest woman ever named a partner by MarksNelson accountants, has been named to the prestigious 2017 class of 40 Under Forty by Ingram’s business magazine. The award program honors extraordinary leaders in business and civic affairs who are under age 40.
Schiltz joined MarksNelson LLC, the largest locally owned accounting firm in Kansas City and one of the fastest growing in the nation, in 2005. She specializes in partnership taxation, real estate accounting and tax services for high-net-worth clients. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants, and CCIM Kansas City.
“Sarah quickly emerged as a leader,” says Managing Partner Mark Radetic. “She is extremely driven, focused, and dedicated to going above and beyond for the success of our clients. Over the last 11 years, she has become an integral component of not only our real estate niche, but the future of MarksNelson.”
Schiltz also has been active in the community, serving as president of the Dream Factory of Greater Kansas City and as a member of the organization’s national Executive and Finance Committee. In addition, Schiltz has been a Special Olympics coach.
In addition to being named a 40 Under Forty honoree, Schiltz has been recognized as a 2015 Buck O’Neill Legacy Seat Honoree for her commitment to the Dream Factory, as a 2015 Rising Star by KC Magazine, and was named to the 2014 class of emerging leaders by Wolters Kluwer, CCH.
